    When I first heard A Life Once Lost they were like a Meshuggah hybrid with Converge/Zao vocals. Last time I hear ALOL I thought they sounded like Lamb of God. Now it seems that they are doing something a little different. The tempo of the album is decidedly slower to me and they have a churning brooding sound that seems to fit them/5(7).
